Find below the steps to follow for the name reservation procedure:
1) In order to check the availability of a name for your business
entity, please click on this link: Check online
whether the name you wish to use for your business entity is free or
not. Note that the Albanian law does not allow the reservation of a
name, which is already reserved or in use by another business.
2) To
reserve a free name for your business entity click on this link
: Reserve online a name for your business
entity. Here, you can complete an online form, but be aware that this action
does not guarantee the name reservation until you pay the respective fee in one
of the NRC's service windows.
3) To download the application form for name reservation (which should be
submitted in one of the NRC service windows) please click here:
Name Reservation Form.
4) During the period of name validity, the latter may be
transferred to third parties, against payment of the respective fee, by
depositing the Respective Form to the NRC. In this case, the NRC puts a proper note on the certificate
for name reservation.
Please,
note that you shall not be able to reserve or chose a name (in Albanian or in a
foreign language), which may harm or be in contradiction to public order. These
names include for example, names that may encourage or support violence or
racial, religious, regional, and ethnic hatred or any other name that may harm
social equilibrium or names that are in violation of the public order, or might
in any other meanings require action by legislation in force. For more
